Right, im finally nearing the end of my examinations! Wootz, 5 more days!!! And i will get my hands on a psp! Got a new canon camera, heres some photos! XD

I wouldnt be active until November 15th. End of story.... 0.o Exams... =.= So basically ya, would be getting birth by sleep after the exams on Nov 16th though... ^.^ Anyway, thats that. Been abandoning my blog but i was pretty busy up at deviantart... tut tut. My last art piece until then is........ Ventus! Meant to get it to be my icon but too much details. Maybe i would do another one next time. =) So until then. =)

Benedict's Test => Test for Reducing Sugar

*Reducing sugar is like your sucrose and glucose. Note : They give energy!

*Steps
Add 2cm cube of reducing sugar (e.g glucose or even banana<=which contains glucose!).
Add equal amt. of Benedict reagent.
Boil using water bath.

Mixture turn green - yellow - orange - brick red percipitate

Add iodine to solution. Ensure that it covers the entire specimen.

Shake test tube vigorously to dissolve liquid.
Add equal vol. of cold water.

Add 2cm cube of protein solution to a test tube.
Add 1cm cube of sodium hydroxide to solution and mix well!
Add 2 drops of 1% copper sulfate solution and mix.

Little update on my life.

Im feeling kinda actually really depressed today. I skipped lunch, my two great buddies had an art excursion and the three of my good friends went out to eat with someone i didnt really fancy so i didnt join them... So well, i settled with someone else. Lucky for me to have her, or i would have been alone. =( After which we went to ask Bio which was pretty boring.... So ya, im kinda depressed. My a math results aren't fantastic, like theres loads of careless mistakes.... So ya, im upset... Still i took some time to do up this note for my two buddies who want them, so here ya go.

Hiatus

Sorry for the inactivity but it really cant be avoided now that my exams are just a couple months away. So, i will keep this short since i have a math test next week. Just wanna tell your that i just watched the show inception. Hell of a show, great movie! For those who havent watch, you should really go and watch. =) I really liked the concept of the dreams, really amazing. ^.^ So well, this is short but hey gotta work right?! Seeya guys soon!

Long long time ago

Ok, so its really been busy down here. I got school tomorrow so i will keep it short. I just bought an electric piano. Yay for me. ;) Anyway, i finished my Maeya, if you remember her. But i changed it last minute, named her Estrella instead. Estrella is Spanish for star. I thought that fitted her. So here im gonna upload it. Thanks to Lierxii for the wonderful background coloring. =) Really stunning. Well, i got interested in Greek mythology of a sudden. Ya, woah, big stuff. Well, i really liked the god, Poseidon. He is great i mean, god of the sea and all that stuff. Water. I really love water. Well, i actually watched Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. Right.... So yea.... Ok...... Fine, i liked the Poseidon in there. =) So i plan to do a picture. A project to be exact. I plan to call it the Poseidon project. So i started on it, ok so im really onto drawing now. Don't be silly if you think i did really draw Poseidon human form. I suck at human anatomy, never really got into that. So i settled on something that is more familiar. You could have guessed huh? So wolf if it. =) Heres the brief WIP i did. Really enjoyable to do.

Estrella.

You could always spot the mistakes better when you see it uploaded. So i made amendments here and there.
The wolf's eyes looked mismatched but i fixed that already so was the contours on the face. The bull's right leg being too small = Fixed. =) Horse is perfect.
The wolf shall represent Poseidon. Poseidon is best symbolized by the trident which is marked on the wolf's right leg. And the horse and bull is likewise a symbol of the sea god. Thus the trio. The dolphins are also a symbol of him, interestingly. This will be an ongoining project throughout the year since i will only be touching it here and there at period of times so there won't be any confirmation when it will done.

busy, busy, busy

Right, second week of my holiday is almost gone. One of my wolf collaboration picture is under way. My part of it is done which is the lineart and coloring of the wolf. The other part is from Lierxii which is doing up the background. Really excited about this one. Loved how the wolf turned out. Right, so once Lierxii finished it all, i will get it scanned in and then get it edited on photoshop. After which, i will get it up on deviantart! Yay!

Well, so i have been a lil unactive at my blog here. I have been busy self-learning piano <= Thats pure dumb but hey i really want to play some Final Fantasy songs! *Learning To Zanarkard from Final Fantasy X right now. And i just got my first group up and running on deviantart, so theres a lot of administration work to do up there. And well, :#Just-Artists:

So... im bored

As promised, i have restarted to work on my half done wolf which is still half done, finished part of it yesterday and still loves how its coming out. If i finish the wolf i will pass it to Lierxi for the background paint job. I plan to get it done as a collabission but i don't know why its taking so long on my part. So, ya i have got back to coloring it again. ^.^ And i don't want to talk about the Biology SPA, its so horrible that i don't wanna even think bout it now. Anyway, thats over, not able to salvage it anymore even if i wanted to. Yup, so this is what i have been up to this days. Not very happy days but lets just say i have had better.
On the bright side, i have planned to take on self-learning piano lessons. I have half finished learning Serah's Theme, and is getting on to the Chocobo's Theme. I plan to learn My Hands, Ventus theme, Modern Warfare 2 Main Theme. Yup, basically im not sure about My hands and Ventus Theme yet since they are very tough. But i love it. =)

Heres a bookmark i did to get rid of all those stress due to the exams. Well, the quality is real bad on computer, due to the crappy scanner. =( Anyway, thats Snow Villiers from Final Fantasy 13 in wolf form with the engagement necklace.;) Gonna do the rest too. And good news is its for sale, for whoever is interested in it. Im doing an entire collection that includes you know the rest like Lightning, Serah, and maybe one on the baby chocobo on Sazh's head!

Oh and yup, i decided to add a quote at the back of every bookmark i did. The quote would be something that said that seems kinda meaningful. For this, i chose 'We have come too far to quit now.' Thats what Snow said to Serah when he discovered she was made a L'Cie. Great guy, huh. Must've loved Serah a lot, wonder if i could find a guy like him...

Didnt start on Lightning with her Eidolon Odin yet cause its gonna take a lot of time and i still have a lot of pieces in my storage box that i got to complete first. Can't abandon them half way round. Anyway heres a peek at what im thinking to start. Thats way bigger than what i can handle right now. Most probably after clearing up all my art pieces then i will start with this. That is in November and December period after my 'O' Levels are over.


*Bookmark is 15cm to 4.5cm. Yup, thats right. Plus laminated and done on Non- acidic paper that will not turn yellow. =)
I would hold on to them first so if you wanna buy them, you would have to wait cause i want all of them together before i sell them. It would contain: Lightning, Snow, Serah, Fang, Vanielle, Hope, Sazh, Dajh, all in wolf form and a bonus baby chocobo which of course is not in wolf form... =.= Yup, so thats it.

Each bookmark would cost S$2.50 per piece. Time put in 2 hours.

Right, so i have been a little naughty... I just went for a movie yesterday night... Ironman 2, really hilarious, worth the while. ;) And i kinda played yesterday... so i havent been exactly very hardworking... Well but c'mon! I killed 8 Adamantoise, a.k.a (the big bad tortoise)... 0.0 in final fantasy 13 that is. Well, im looking at my uploading video that seems to be going for eternity... I hope it loads ok so i can show your how i can kill one unsuccessfully and the other very successfully. Weird sentence but you get what i mean right? So i don't know if it loads ok... So it didnt work, that sucks.... Anyway i got a few photos i took.

Oh right, i kill Adamantoise by luck by spamming with Vanielle's Death ability. Takes a lot of time using sheer strength so spamming Death seems faster. Crystarium point is 80000 with growth egg on plus possible drop of platinum ingot that cost 150000 gil? I think so.... Kinda pretty lucky yesterday, killed 6 in one shot... 0.0 Wow.... And four today maybe gonna kill some later. ;)

Elixers?! You bet! But this elixers seems to be totally costly? Yup, saw them on sold but they cost a lot. I think? Or is it the one with trading figures that cost more? Anyway, who cares, i want the one on chocobo chick! Its so cute!!


Plus ok, so I really find Vanielle's voice irritating, the accent and all that is plus Hope... which is kinda hopeless until at the back when both become the most powerful spellcaster...=.= Damn! Why couldn't it be Lightning or Fang?! Seriously... Still, i like that picture... crap must be the angle... Anway, exam's next week, will not on for a while so see ya as soon as possible!XD

So, my results are not good, not one bit. Too be exact, it is actually horrifying...=.= My As are gone to be replaced by Bs and Cs and that is devastating! My Biology SPA O Levels is tomorrow and im kinda freaked out right now...
Anyway, a piece of good news is i purchased two Final Fantasy XIII posters!! Wootz!! ^.^ One is on Lightning which is totally cool and the other one is on Snow and Lightning. Its a square enix product so its no surprise that it actually cost 20 bucks for this two. But im glad i bought it, its the last set!^.^ So the quality of my camera's super lousy....Really bad quality due to the lighting but heres one of them which i put up. (Above) And the one below is the one on Snow and Lightning, plus my Mickey/Minnie puzzle. Now how did it get in the picture...=.=



AND my brother sorta almost completed the entire FF13 only left with 5-6 marks i think. Attacus is a complete bitch to those who know what im saying. After spending 15+ minutes to reduce his life to 3 million from 9 million, then he did a one shot on the party leader in my case Fang, instant kill..=.= Man the frustration... The second attempt, we managed to reduce it to 3 million plus life too nearing 2 million when it suddenly cast doom on the team leader, Lightning this time with the numbers going down super fast, instant death too i suppose.... Haven't killed him yet though... sigh. Tough guy.

So a new post to tell you all that i won't be very active from today onwards, because exams are drawing near. Plus my Chinese Exam is dangerously close and my results for it are low in the dumps. I made a bet with my mum remember? About the As and max a B trading for a necklace. My Chinese got a C6, not even close to a B3 which im aiming for. So, i think your get it, i got to work very hard on that language which i practically hate at this point. In addition I only had 4As for the last exam i took. Scoring two Bs and a C for the other three. One is on Biology which is heart wrenching. And the other was Geography plus Social Studies which was equally saddening since im aiming for A in both of them. Looks like i didnt put in enough effort i guess. I will still be visiting now and then but i wouldn't be starting any major art pieces, just to let your know.

On a happier note, did your play Final Fantasy XIII? The one recently released for PS3 and Xbox. I know i mentioned it below. BUT can you believe that the rumors are saying Vanielle and Fang are lesbians?!! I mean im definitely not buying that! You mean being close and after surviving the odds makes one a lesbian?! Hell NO! Am i a lesbian if i walk with my friend a lil too close or change in the same cubicle? No! =.= What is it with people nowadays? Just because they held hands and become crystalized? Man i bet i did hug the person instead and i for one is 100% straight. Why?! You are turning into a crystal for god knows how long, not dead yet not alive and theres only a person who is with you, man i did cling tight to her! So cast your vote, what do your think?

Good News!

I just found out!! What?!! My mum says she's gonna buy Serah's Necklace that cost $249.99 for me!! Of course theres an if... Only if i get all As for my 'O' Levels and max one B. I think im gonna go for it! Thats the best news i ever heard!! But i don't know if they ship it to Singapore as the online shop is only available in USA, Japan, Europe and then Australia. I really hope they could ship here, will keep you posted.

Right, so i came about this merchandise when i was surfing the webs and how should i put it? Im captivated by them! Yes, i believe that's the right word. I really love it but its a pity i couldn't afford either one, why? Because they cost a lot mainly... Well, its something i really really want and i thought i did share it with your. Well, both of the items came from Final Fantasy XIII. Well, they are beautiful!

The first one is an intricate 925 Silver replica of the engagement pendant worn by both Serah and Snow from Final Fantasy XIII. It cost a hefty $249.99.





You know this is the first time i actually like accessories! Not taht i don't like them but i wasn't very interested in them before. I was kinda stuck in the box, ya know? Well specifically this one. But the thing is i couldn't afford it. Maybe i could earn some money by taking commissions but im way too busy for that so i suppose this is just a dream. !FINAL FANTASY XIII!

Soo... Guess what?! I got Final Fantasy XIII yesterday! Firstly, the graphics are of superb quality and the battle system didn't suck as much as i thought it would when i saw the trailer's battle system. Actually, the new battle system seems kinda good. With the Paradigm system, it actually makes thing a lot easier. Theres the medic, commander, ravager and saboteur role if i remember correctly.

There are a couple of main characters. Lightning, Seara, Snow, Vanielle, Hope, Sazh and Fang. Actually im not sure who Fang is yet since i haven't gone that far. Anyway by far Lightning and Snow's my favorite. Oh yes, and Hope? He actually reminds me of Larsa from FFXII. *Shrugs. Except that Larsa is more mature...

Anyway, one thing i realize the first major boss remains as the Garuda except that this one looks more sinister? but otherwise pretty much the same as FFXII's Garuda. Oh yes and theres the silver lobo another exquisite link to FF12. ^.^ And there is the crystarium, which is almost the same as the license board in FF12, have the same purpose. I know, i have been comparing but come on its fun!^.^ Yes and the Ediolos, the Espers!! I really liked Lightning's Ediolos, Odin. The horse is really lovely. And there is Snow's Ediolos, Nix and another... cant remember who. Right, so right now we are at Chapter 6! Ya, the starting of that Chapter anyway at the Gapra Whitewood. Hmmm, Vanielle actually reminds me a lot about Penelo from FF12... One more thing, FF13 is a must buy! Superb graphics, characters, soundtrack, story. Really one of the best RPG games ever made!;)

The Oscars! Seen it?! I got it recorded, guess why? Cause i just wanna see The Hurt Locker get all the awards!! Hahar.... Damn thats lame but still... Its a good show, good story line, good picture, good sound. Why?! Cause i bought the Blu- Ray version and played on my ps3... =.= Okay... Thats not my choice, my bro was the one who wanted it. To those who don't know, The Hurt Locker won 6 out of 9 nominations! Yay!! Annnnnd it has a female director! Woot! <*whispers 'Plus shes pretty....'>
Right, back to me. I got back my E Math test results today and i was devastated to find out i only had 21.5 / 25... Why? Because, all the marks are lost due to Carelessness! Wow, i saw 'd' as 'b'. And it should be +/-2, i only wrote +2 and not -2... And, the other one was because i saw the wrong numbers and wrote 21 instead of 31.... All that cost me 3.5 marks... Well, thats ok... i am so gonna kill myself! Thats still an A i suppose, should be happy... For A Math, i fared pretty badly and got 17/25 and i lost 3 marks due to carelessness!

Barrett is a US Sniper Rifle with pinpoint accuracy. I called him Barrett since this guy is sharp, alert, and is very accurate in whatever he does... I think...

Before i forget i wanna say R.I.P to Sgt Frost who have died in a heli crash. You have been a great guy in the front lines, i hope you find peace. For those who don't know, he passed away March 3rd 2008 in a helicopter crash a month before he was scheduled to be released from duty in Iraq. I know its last year but still...=.= Thought i did just mention him.

March Feature

To keep your updated, i am not really active this month or the last due to a lot of homework and revision stuffs. So i couldn't exactly get time out for my art work. To say,I just had another A Math test today on Differentiation. =.= *Sigh... Its really tough and i probably could fail it... Anyway, I plan to do an early March Feature in hope of relieving some stress. So here ya go.

Not gonna be active for a while

Due to the amount of school work and pretty bad test results, i have to stop my art work for a while now. I know, i got a lot of ideas that i wanna draw out, but studies first. And im not very satisfied with the results im getting back. I had a C for my chinese which is pretty depressing, a B for my A Math on my Trigonometry and a low A for my Biology plus I flung my social studies by 2%. Not an ideal start for me. Even though the rest of the subjects i aced them, its still not a very good idea for me to settle down to draw now. In addition, i have a physics test on Wednesday, and another A Math and E Math test next week. Busy?! You bet so! Anyway, looking forward to 12th march, where im getting my award for top in Biology last year. Thats kinda cool, since i really loved Bio! Wootz! Ya, and im looking forward to the buffet as well, hehe. Anyway, the last piece of artwork i did was completed yesterday for a national competition. Heard of Doodle 4 Google? Ya, i entered it, actually the teacher forced us but we gotta draw our country stuff, kinda boring, but it should do. Put in pretty much effort in it, hope i could get my hands on a free laptop but theres a lot of people entering, i most probably won't win...=.= So well, i will keep you posted when i start coloring again most probably in mid march during the one week break. So seeya and wish me luck on improving my grades!XD

Right, one question. Is it wrong to submit an edited picture to deviantart and claiming it as your own? I don't have the answer, i mean i submitted the navy SEAL symbol to my page but i removed it today after coming across a news that says that it isn't right to do so, and that your own work means its an art piece that you start from scratch. Ok.... Fine. I removed it but i the symbol is just SOO nice!! I know, theres a lot of work that need to be done and guess what i started on a new piece. I know im a jerk.... Right, whatever! I will finish this one and justfinish the hippocampus. Then i will start with the three work that i finished the lineart. So heres the partially finished symbol of the Navy SEALS!^.^

Did it in colored paper this time. The only coloured paper i have at home for the time being.

Right, if i am to rush the Hippocampus, the results will be disastrous. Im still stuck at the upper body and im not working as fast as i intended to, due to ... disturbance? Err, right. Im glued to the sofa watching my brother play modern warfare 2 now that his back from army for the chinese new year and its not helping with my drawing... Looks like i may try a different version of photoshop, i hope i can get it. It did be a real waste if my picture get ruined horribly by the scanner... But im having trouble with the body area it just doesn't appeal to me. It kinda look like colors thrown together 2D like instead of the supposedly 3D effect. But i still wish everyone a happy chinese new year!!!^.^ My bro's back, gotta go!=)

Hmm... I just got back my three drawings of the gemsbok, tiger and wolf (Maeya). And im still working on my Hippocampus... Plus bad news, my photoshop's expiring in 4 days time.... I can only start work again on Friday noon which means im down to 2 days of usage, which further means i have to finish the hippocampus on Friday or Saturday!! Ok, that is so stress! Urgh, i am so screwed in this...=.= In addition, my A Math test is tomorrow, not good... since my Trigonometry is kinda pretty weak. I suppose i might fail this test...=.= No!!! I want my A! Well, heres my hippocampus WIP 2... Completely stressed right now.
Well, good news? Right, my bro is coming home from army this friday!! Yay!! I can see him play Modern Warfare 2! *Cheers!!* Ah well..=.= Wish me luck for tomorrow's test gonna go study from scratch again....=.=

Hippocampus!

Yup, im so stressed right now, that i wanna kill someone! Urgh! The whole week was non stop studying and rushing, there wasn't time for anything!! Well, im glad its friday, finally able to get a breather. I drew typically, used others work as a platform to practice so none of these works will be posted on deviantart...=.= I drew a hippocampus just now, really like the combination of horse and fish. Did it from 1430 to 1700, fast? You bet! Anyway at least most of the stress is gone... phew. As usual, hippocampus from kankakanka, i adore her style that is, very flowing and anyway my mum really wanted me to draw a horse. The thing is i know hardly anything about horse anatomy...=.= So the hippocampus still turn out ok... But it was so big i couldn't exactly get the whole picture fixed inside the entire A4 size paper though its really nice! Yay! Gonna color it next friday, i think. The coloring process would take a long while but im gonna take it nice and slow. No hurry. Hehe, listened to MW2 soundtrack for the picture, keeps me awake through the drawing process. Dumm de de de dum de de de dum dum de (Repeat, faster and faster!!) Its Boneyard Flyby, search for it at my mixpod down there, Number 9! Yay, thats better! Listening to it right now, so going kinda hyper again...o.0 Anway, of course original stuffs by kankakanka!^.^

The Deer?!

Ya, i finished this gemsbok using a reference from kankakanka as usual, since im in love with her style. Another design for valentines day i think, well im still thinking if i shuld rescan my wolf, the edited version... Meh, probably not.. Anyway, the horse attempt was a failure, im not very sure of their anatomy nor can i get my hands onto a good reference picture. Tried using a pic from PearlEden but didnt turn out well. X.X So maybe i will just give them this three, bleh... Anyway, im down with a flu? Maybe? Probably? Got a sore throat and runny nose plus a lot of stress! I have five test next week.
