Hippocampus!

Yup, im so stressed right now, that i wanna kill someone! Urgh! The whole week was non stop studying and rushing, there wasn't time for anything!! Well, im glad its friday, finally able to get a breather. I drew typically, used others work as a platform to practice so none of these works will be posted on deviantart...=.= I drew a hippocampus just now, really like the combination of horse and fish. Did it from 1430 to 1700, fast? You bet! Anyway at least most of the stress is gone... phew. As usual, hippocampus from kankakanka, i adore her style that is, very flowing and anyway my mum really wanted me to draw a horse. The thing is i know hardly anything about horse anatomy...=.= So the hippocampus still turn out ok... But it was so big i couldn't exactly get the whole picture fixed inside the entire A4 size paper though its really nice! Yay! Gonna color it next friday, i think. The coloring process would take a long while but im gonna take it nice and slow. No hurry. Hehe, listened to MW2 soundtrack for the picture, keeps me awake through the drawing process. Dumm de de de dum de de de dum dum de (Repeat, faster and faster!!) Its Boneyard Flyby, search for it at my mixpod down there, Number 9! Yay, thats better! Listening to it right now, so going kinda hyper again...o.0 Anway, of course original stuffs by kankakanka!^.^

The Deer?!

Ya, i finished this gemsbok using a reference from kankakanka as usual, since im in love with her style. Another design for valentines day i think, well im still thinking if i shuld rescan my wolf, the edited version... Meh, probably not.. Anyway, the horse attempt was a failure, im not very sure of their anatomy nor can i get my hands onto a good reference picture. Tried using a pic from PearlEden but didnt turn out well. X.X So maybe i will just give them this three, bleh... Anyway, im down with a flu? Maybe? Probably? Got a sore throat and runny nose plus a lot of stress! I have five test next week. Social Studies, check. Geography?! NOO!! I have ten pages filled with words to memorise and i haven't even started! Screwed!! Chinese? Check. Physics? Check. Elementary Math? Check! Right, and a biology test on homeostasis and kidney function? Thats the week after next... phew... Argh, this is crazy!=.= Plus the sickness is kinda driving me mad. Urgh...

Valentines Day?!

Right so valentine's day and Chinese New Year comes hand in hand right? And well, my school's co- curriculum activity wanted to do something for the Valentine's Day stuff and as a senior in that school, im in charge of advertising, how fun is that?! =.= Anyway, im suppose to draw something, anything and write what my CCA is selling/ doing on that design. After which it is distributed to every class and placed on the notice board or placed around the school. Whoa, huge opportunity, grabs at that chance! Well, i came up with the combination of a tiger, wolf, horse, and maybe a deer? 4 seperate designs and they can type what they want in photoshop. so as not to ruin my picture. Haha, i don't want to ruin it!! Well, i will be planning on the edited Maeve, the wolf that i just posted here in my recent entry other than this. And i just finished the tiger, as the coming chinese new year is coming and that chinese zodiac is tiger!^.^ As usual i used a reference, this time Dark Tiger by kankakanka. So heres my tiger at a very raw state! With no shading just a very brief sketch of the lineart. Edited in Adobe Photoshop CS4!^.^

Updates!

Ok, i started drawing again. Have to make sure that Photoshop trail time is not wasted at all, so i drew a wolf!^.^ Typically, its a really fun and cheery one and Female of course! ^.^ But this is a very basic one with hardly any changes to it. I could spot a lotta mistakes here and there already exaples are the fur near the head and paws, the front two especially but im really satisfied with the tail. But for some reason, white spots that ruined the picture starts appearing out of nowhere! Its a total nuisance!! Making coloring difficult and ruin it!!=.= Wonder whats the cause... So here it is with sketchy lines and very messy stuffs everywhere. Spot a mistake, highlight it to me!^.^ O right, side picture is a stray cat i took the day before, edited in photoshop naturally. Very satisfied with how it came out. Lovely!XD

Today isn't exactly a good day for me. I did say its a real nasty day. Ok, first thing i did the class t- shirt design. Typically, i drew a wolf since its my strong point. Well, i actually rushed 2 hours for the wolf and guess what the majority said NO! My GOD! =.= All my work gone down to drain... Ok, maybe not, i edited it in photoshop and guess what im not gonna buy the bloody t- shirt. Reason 1 => Its PINK! Reason 2 => Most likely some kinda design i don't like. Reason 3 => I don't want to wear it. Simple as that! Anyway, i hat the class, the majority of it. I have a friend, she's an artist too and when they flash her work. A string of Eww and Yuck came out from my classmates! Can you believe that?! I gotta write this, i mean maybe yo ucould have thought about it before saying. My friend almost cried, i mean who wouldn't?!! Some more she's an art student, even i will feel demoralized! Come on, wake up people! Well, finished the wolf today, just posted it on deviantart, gonna post it here too.

So... What shall i say, a week passed in a blink of an eye... Anyway, the bio SPA practical was a hoax, lucky me but it was real scary... Thats for sure. Firstly, because of time constraint, i was sweating like i just came from a bath! Well, i think thats the main scare factor... Well, so im still currently obsessed with Modern Warfare 2.
Of course! What are you thinking?! its the best game ever! =.= Ok, a little hyper right now but after compiling the whole cut scene/ walk through at my blog, it ain't that fascinating... Benedict's Test => Test for Reducing Sugar
*Steps
Add 2cm cube of reducing sugar.
Add equal amt. of Benedict solution.
Boil using water bath *Remember goggles, people! Plus close air hole for bunsen burner first!

Results if present
Mixture turn green - yellow - orange - brick red percipitate

Iodine Test => Test for starch
*Steps
Add iodine to solution. *Easy Peasy

Results if present
A blue-black coloration

Emulsion Test =>Test for Fats
*Steps
Add fat/oil to test tube containing 2cm cube of ethanol solution.
Shake test tube vigorously to dissolve liquid.
Add equal vol. of cold water.

Results if present
A white precipitate

Biuret Test =>Test for proteins
*Steps
Add 2cm cube of protein solution to a test tube.
Add 1cm cube of sodium hydroxide to solution and mix well!
Add 2 drops of 1% copper sulfate solution and mix.
No heating required.

I came home very late today...=.= How am i gonna even do an art piece or complete one?! Argh, i cam home at 1815hrs, gawd thats late right?!!! But no choice we got co-curriculum activity, which is compulsory...=.= Well, i joined art club so naturally, blah blah blah.... anyway, tomorrow will be the same coming home time cause of some open house which is compulsory to go... Its polytechnic open house and im definitely not headed there!! Im gonna go to college but they are making it compulsory to go, i mean what for?!! Urgh, well, hate this week totally.... I will try to finish the art pieces i owe though. Cant drag the art trade that long, huh? So sorry Natsumi!

Well, time flies, didnt have time to post yesterday after i posted something on my livejournal. Too bad... Anyway, im starting to love my blog. I can put stuffs like slideshow, poll, calender. Well, condense it and its simply stuffs that you an only get when you have premium membership for deviantart. Well, thats fun.^.^ Anyway, i have plans for 2010, big plans?! Nah, just plans, what plans? Wait and see, i got a surprise for ya!^.^
